I,m so old I remember when a tuneup meant replacing spark plugs, air filter. fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor. wires, points(whats that) setting the dwell?, timing, cleaning the carburetor and choke and then road testing it ( preferably an italian tuneup at this point)
and the whole thing only lasted about ten thousand miles and you had to do it all again.... frank
