Whaler you are half right. The lighter colors hide waves, however the metalic paints show every scratch and blemish. If you have a small sanding line the metal lays down on a different angle and presto you have a flaw.

TC I was going to use latex but couldn't find it in a spray can. Donnie and I did find 53 cans of spray primer, 41 cans of silver and 60 cans of clear. Only down side - my finger is flat from holding those little red buttons down and what to do with 154 empty cans. I'll call you when we get it cut and buffed - if I can find your number. Hot Rod spirit - is that what I've been afflicted with - I thought it was a flat wallet.
