Mike is more knowledgable than I and many others on the subject of engines. If he says the CSX Aluminum block is a side oiler, then it must be.

It was my understanding,the aluminum blocks were cast not so. I stand corrected if Mike or others say the CSX blocks are sideoilers.

Then there are the SIDE OILERS. We know what we mean by that, don't we?
Boat anchors, service blocks, Old Iron, deadweights and so on... They are still SIDEOILERS.
