Tom
Sorry--Wilwoods. Brick wall connected to the middle pedal.
This car is so damn solid! Remember--I'm comparing it to my (now Fred's) beloved Butler (essentially a Tiger Tank for the road), and this thing is every bit "of a piece". No cowl or windshield shake, no squeaks, clunks, etc. Speed bumps are actually fun.
But my main point of this thread is to remind folks that our world is still alive and well. Let's not bury our heads in the ground, but don't be afraid either. DMV process in California was not that bad (so far), and insurance was one phone call and one application away. I drive sanely on the street--I love the long Gashole cruises--and I have fun at autocrosses and at open track events. I'm gonna park this beast at the SCCA corral at the Concours this weekend. It's all good.
Let's not forget to have fun.
