If true, FFR would get the Shelby Cobra brand as part of the acquisition. Ford has licensed the Cobra name to Shelby and this license agreement should survive in the event of an ownership change for SAI.
As far as sales strategy for a combined entity, how about this one...probably some combination of FFR's frame and more original bodies (aluminum maybe)? Alternatively, maybe two product lines; 1) Classic FFR, wrench your own or 2) Factory roller, built by SAI using FFR technology. Both under one company, either way, sold as Shelby Cobras.
