Oh look, the sun came up today (and I'm betting that it will again tomorrow).
Why are we talking about Model Ts? Let's look at the T-Bird. Ford made them in the 50s and brought them back in the late 90s or early 00s. (Kind of like the Cobra and CS). Are the new ones not "real" T-Birds? Of course they are. They were made by Ford then, are made by Ford now and carry the T-Bird name. The new T-Birds are no less a "T-Bird" (except in styling and performance which is why no one bought one- but that's another thread) than the old T-Birds.
Facts are that 4000 cars are Real Cobras. They are made by Shelby and are the only cars that can legally be called a "Cobra". Is it a "fake snake"? Nope, but it is a replica- and the only replica that holds the distinction of being called a Cobra. Does that make it a better car than others? Maybe or maybe not. It all depends upon what you want, what is important to you and what makes something "better" in your mind.
(edit: In re-reading this, I forgot that Ford made the T-Bird through the 70s and 80s also

, but the point is the same

)
