My car runs on--but I expect it to. I set the idle at 1200 to keep the plugs clean. Lowering the idle has always cured the run-on, but I prefer to leave the idle high for other reasons.

One other thing I have noticed is, retarding the timing just a tad cured the run-on as well. Of course, you run the risk of affecting performance by doing this.

I do the let the clutch out thing.
