Default Superformance Hi Beam Indicator

Ok, this is really minor but thought I would throw this out. I took my superformance out at night recently and when you flip the headlight switch to the 2nd position, you activate the brighter beam from the headlights. It illuminates a brilliant blue light on the dash. Well, a week later, the bulb emits no more light. I swapped the bright beam indicator bulb to another location and it worked fine (so the bulb works). I am led to believe the problem is in the switch itself. The actual headlights function perfectly, cannot think of where the disconnect would be. Curious if others have found this problem and whether it's just a bad switch or maybe it's not grounding properly. I haven't tested for current at the light socket, but I would think there wouldn't be any. Usually these types of nuissances have a common occurance and an equally common solution. Thanks
