It could be very useful with the typical noisy Cobra exhaust system. Too bad they don't give you the option of having an automatic ignition timing retard with it. I don't remember the manufacturer, but I had a knock-retard system on one of my cars about 15 years ago. It enabled me to run more advance under light loads for better fuel economy.
