rdorman/keith : naw, no sale. not into spelling bees here and not a farmer, but tomatoe or tomato, its a rotten analogy, like rotten tomatoes..pick your spelling.

re 427 style : if you were going to pay $250-350k for an original shelby you would expect it to be a csx 3000 series, non continuation as built in the 60s. IN THE SIXTIES , period. that is orginal. same applies to the csx 2000 cars for the 260/289 series, originals were built in the 60s .

now , there are two aluminum bodied shelbys on ebay today for $100k +/- with and without engines ...why dont you pay them $250-350k for those originals ? ah hah ! cuz they are REPLICA's..REAL SHELBY's but REAL REPLICAS's...plain and simple.

yep, real but NOT original...only originals were built in the 60s...

now those two ebay 4000 series sellers would welcome your $250-350k offers though.

bill , can't grow vegetables or spel wurth a durned, but can tell the difference between real copies and real originals.
