Cobra Make, Engine: Contemporary classics 3041,sbc 350(have no fear ford guys for there is a FE 428 in the garage waiting to be rebuilt & installed) but for now she is a driver while other projects take precidence.

I love how fast this thread... which was started by a guy who saw an ad in a magazine that pi$$ed him off. He immediatly(in no uncertain terms) voiced his opinion (which resulted in another big long sometimes ugly but always entertaining thread) and almost single handedly (IMHO) got the ad changed from a slap in the face us replica owners to a more typical ad that does not try to offend the core of intended consumers.... has morphed into another REAL vs ORIGINAL debate.
I usually try to stay out of these threads but here goes...
To me it seems pretty simple.
1. my car is a replica
2. Evans and Turks cars are REAL Shelby cobras
3. Anything with a csx2000 or csx3000 number are REAL ORIGINAL cobras.
Seems pretty simple to me.

Now if we really want to get technical there is only ONE ORIGINAL
Cobra and it had a 260ci motor everything after that is a copy.
