Great point. It's like 'kit' is a bad word or something. There is nothing wrong with a 'component' car if it's built right. How many original anythings do you see on the road. Try explaining to an angry mob at a cuise night what a Superformance is!! "No Sir, it's not a kit. I didn't build it in my garage. It is a factory built replica and it is not sold as a kit".
