Don: Looks like an "older" SPF number (pre-lawsuit) that they used to print on the (now deleted) "Cobra" serial number badge (a close copy of the orig used by Shelby). I looked at a used SPF last fall that had a similar number (K1399AM1796) and it was SPF# 796. Looks like the one you're referring to is #446 which would mean it was probably built in 1999-2000 (#796 was a 2000). Check out "Second Strike". Its a SPF newsletter, or, call a SPF dealer and they would be able to help you more.
