Hi funfer2, S**t, I did not mean to sound like a professor, I'm far from it.
But the answer to your question, I presume is this.
Peak horsepower is the rpm value at which the power available from the engine is at a maximum. i.e the engine can take no more
to get your power to weight ratio is still the same, weight divided by horsepower.
I hope no one asks to go deeper into this topic cause I'm at my peak rpm, dont know more than this.
