I'll bet they were going pretty fast, and the time came to step on the brakes. As we all well know, the accellerator is offset to the left, where the brake is on most cars, in relationship to the driver. The tech decides he has to stop quickly, hits what he thinks is the brake, (actually the Gas pedal,) speeds up accidentally, and WHAMMO! By the time he was through 'SPLAININ' ", his name was LUCY!! LOL !!
