A driving suit and arm restraints are required if you plan to push the car or yourself anywhere near the limits. For group 1 driving, that should not be the case. Common sense prohibits me from taking out the Lola without these types of protection, but i would go out in group 1 without them and feel comfortable. I must recommend them to be on the safe side and let you make the actual decision.
