I am building a 427 top oiler with low rise iron heads. I noticed that the intake ports are larger than the ports on the brand new Edelbrock RPM manifold. According to the Edelbrock site this FE manifold will fit both the low rise and medium rise heads. Should the ports be ground to match or are they OK the way they are ??
Any suggestions would be helpful.
