Default CHECK YOUR SUSPENSION hardware

I am in the middle of transplanting my toploader for a Tremec and the car has all 4 wheels up in the air. Well, my friend Mr.Potatohead (post was on Cobra Talk) had his Cobra totaled and the appearant cause is a bolt came out of the upper A-Arm. So I figure hey the car is up I might as well check my bolts.........of the 14 botls that hold my upper and lower suspension in place 6 were up to a quarter turn loose and one had backed out half way. It's a good idea to check your suspension bolts annually (which I usually do). And use lock-tite which I also do but it is no guarantee that the bolts can't come loose.

stay safe,
