Even the most attentive and skilled driver can lose it at 100mph due to tire or mechanical failure. I think Frank's point was that the 100mph runs shouldn't be done on public city streets. That kinda thing belongs on the track, where potential damage and injury is limited to driver and car.

As far as the kid in the Cobra...well...I gotta agree, the parents should take responsibility there, lay down the rules, and the driver should respect their wishes. Or the kid can just sit and watch.
