Hi-jack alert!
I've always wondered......
If a defendants lawyer KNOWS the guy is guilty is it "against the law" to allow that Defendant to go on the stand and "proclaim" his innocence?
I assume, for instance, that OJ's lawyers either had to believe he really didn't do it, or simply "refused" to ask that question out of fear that might be, which would complicate his defense.
Then again, OJ never did take the stand in his own defense........
