A few of us at the Fling talked about (if it happened again next year) getting one of them radar signs you see along the road (You are going XX mph). If this was set up so many feet away from the starting line it would also be the shut down point. If you go past the shut down line on the go pedal you are done for the day. You could have a little friendly competition who could get the highest speed and still control the distance.
