Edley, you have something that less then 1% of the population (and right now me) will ever have, a very unique car and hobby. The guy who said that to you? Who knows but chances are he just goes home to his generic wife/girlfriend in his generic neighborhood and golf's (ok golfers whack me for that). So I wouldn't pay too much attention to it, most people are not mechanically inclined enough to even start one of these cars.
