I currently have the Ed rpm inlet on my car, and it is more than just plain "streetable" - will trickle along at 1200rpm in 5th without problems. But it gets breathless after 5500rpm.

To fit a Vic Jr (which I should like to do) I should have to machine around 1/2" from the carb mounting pad, redrilling and rethreading the carb mounting stud holes. This is because of hood clearance issues.
This will reduce the plenum capacity of the Vic Jr intake - now what would that do to both bottom and top end torque???
