For current customers of Nationwide insurance, they may cover your cobra. I say "may" because mine is now covered, but I've been a customer for 10 years and it had to be approved by a higher level manager.

$600/year for 100/300 coverage with $1000/500 deductible. NO driving limits other than 8k/year (could be higher I think) and NO garage/show requirements. This includes a 10% discount for having homeowners insurance. Lower deductibles are considerably more money

I had quotes for $650 and $760 from 2 other providers, but they both had enough restrictions that I wouldn't be able to risk driving the car!

One note, I couldn't qualify for an umbrella policy because the cobra and my viper were considered "too many high performance vehicles" even though I've never had a claim and only 2 tickets in 15+ years. A Pinto/Explorer pair presumably would have been fine.
