Question POLY-LOCKS and VALVE COVERS
I am putting together my 427 FE S.O. and thought about using
"poly-locks" to lessen the frequrncy of valve adjustments on my solid lifter Crane cam. I have done this in the past on my 69 Z-28's
solid-lifter motor and it has worked well--no need for adjustment even after 3K miles. Has anyone out there used poly-locks on an FE? I assume they are available from Summit or Jegs? Do they interfere with the stock valve covers? If so,are there any reasonably stock looking valve covers that will clear them?
