Thanks for the replys guys. It looks kike I can mount the adapter piece from the topside of the fender and I'll have to find some rubber sheet to make the gasket between the screw on ring and my adapter. If I'm understanding you correctly I don't need the extra flat ring piece that is shown in the manual. I'm considering getting a gas filler neck and installing it under the LaMans cap so I can use a locking gas cap. That LaMans cap is just too tempting for the curious. Your thoughts on this?? MH
