Dan,that's exactly why I quit going to car shows,now I only attend MCA sactioned and judged shows,then very few of them anyway. I like the MCA judging because everybody is judged by the same thing....

Around here the "open" car shows are all won by the club putting it on or the guy that has the most chrome......I do attend some cruise nights and still go to one car show here to meet up with old friends,but when at the car show or cruise night I register my car as a "display only" vehicle,I do not want it judged by their rules against their cars,I'm just there for the fun anyway and that way I do not leave mad....
