Ok, I'm confused now guys.. I have a 3550-2 behind mine and it's brand new, well I did put 2100 miles on it since picking up the car in april. You are now saying I should have drained and changed the tranny fluid at 500 miles just like the engine
oil. Is this something particular to 3550's cause I've owned alot of cars in my day some hot some not and I've never changed tranny fluid at 500 miles. Since when is there going to be stuff floating around in a trans that we need to flush out so soon? If I'm looking a tranny failure in the near future cause I didn't do this please let me know.. after what I've been through with the engine that's all I need to make my week!!!
