When I am driving up the canyon--and UP the mountain--SB engines just don't compare. If you build a SB to have killer power, the streetability goes down. BB just really don't care where they are running.

As for your car, I would only spend money on what you want, NOT what someone else wants. Someone else isn't paying for it and someone else shouldn't be driving it. Make what you want and be happy.

If you aren't happy, put your car on e-bay, take what you get, and start over. A BIG mistake we always run into is people spending money on their cars in order to sell them...big no-no. You will NEVER get the money back out. Better to take a loss now, than a loss later (probably a bigger one at that). I have seen it too many times.

Get what you want. If you have what you want, then make it how you want it. People who don't like it...well, they have probably never driven up the canyon...
