I understand a complete Coupe with engine/drivetrain will cost in the vicinity of $85,000 to $90,000. Most people would probably want to put a high-end powertrain in this car. So the numbers make sense.

Does anyone know which engine/tranny was used in the prototypes???? How much horsepower is required to achieve 200-mph?????

Regarding the sidepipes issue, the drivers who raced the original Daytona Coupes complained about the extreme, excruciating noise levels. Why in the hell would anyone want IDENTICAL "real" sidepipes on a street car??? Deafening noise, fumes, cops/tickets, angry neighbors....does that sound like fun ?????


I don't like those funky white wheels. Reminds me of those ugly yellow ones you could get on a Viper a few years back.


Anywhooo, nice car. But too rich for my blood, barring winning the lottery or inheriting a bundle.
