Wow! Thanks everyone for your words. . .

The labor and parts, include $6500 for the Ford Crate Engine, and a few other large dollar items. The labor is actually minimal. It's only 4 days into turning wrenches, but it's actually been going on since January with research and parts buying. . .

I guess I had a real bad day trying to track down what starter motor to buy! Wow that sounds ridiculous after writing it down.

I guess it's been adding up in the past few days, looking for parts that will work with what I got and after I realized that I already invested so much and there is more to go. . . .

I thought I would be spending $40K and now it looks more like $50K. . . But then, I am upgrading everything. . . .
