I downloaded the image in Mike's post, took it into Photoshop, rotated it 180 degrees and magnified it.
The object appears to be a VERY large pair women's panties. The women appear to grow larger in Aussieland.
I can't make out who's name is at the top, but the text appears to read, " Thanks for the great flight."
It's signed "Amy".
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............
