Default 2nd and 4th gear have disappeared
Hello All,

Asking for advice concerning my toploader. I have a little over 600 miles on the car with no problems, till now. Past few days the shifter was coming out of second when I let out the clutch. It just felt like 2nd wasn't full engaging. So I turned out the shifter linkage one turn for second...everything worked fine for 10 miles or so. Then 2nd started jumping out again and now no engament with 4th at all.

I think its a shifter linkage adjustment...but....find it a little worrisome that this happened sorta out of the blue.

Any thought or suggestions would be most appreciated
