Default Buying a used Cobra
I'm interested in a Cobra in Illinois. I also live in Illinois. In talking with the owner, he stated that he purchased a title in 2001 as a 1964 or 1966 (I can't remember which he said).He also stated that he has had no problems getting plates and insurance.
I'm concerned about how much sales tax I will be charged and if the cobra is emissions exempt. Can anybody shed any light on this. Thanks for any help.
