Well,

BAD NEWS>>>>Got the head back. It had a pin hole in the intake runner.

GOOD NEWS>>> I took the thing to a shop and had the hole opened up and then welded. I put the head back on the Car, and after about 15 minutes of running (constantly checking dipstick for signs of coolant) the coolant in the side pipes finally evaporated and All looks good.

Only thing is I noticed the the upper radiator hose sort of ballooned up pretty good.
Not big, but it WAS SURE UNDER PRESSURE. I think the radiator cap may have caused this. ???????? The system was definately full of water, and the cap was not letting anything into the overflow.
(Water Temp never got above 185).
With the motor running, I could feel coolant moving through both the top and bottom Hoses.

What do you all think? This is a HV water pump.

Also, I took the car for a VERY SHORT test run. and there is a pretty big viberation in the shifter handle at about 2800- 3200 RPMs. What could cause this?? >> C4 Trans.
