Last weekend I attended the PCA event at Road Atlanta. I registered to attend with a "Cup Car", and they assumed I meant a Porsche Cup Car, like they race in Grand Am on Speed Channel. Imagine the surprise when I showed up with the "other" kind of "Cup" car, the Winston kind.
Some of them were a bit aprehensive,like shouting " What's up with Ricky Rudd ?" at the driver's meeting, but soon came around to see what was making all the noise, and actually they were very nice by the end of the day. TC told me that snobs have small units and are trying to compensate ( not sure how he did his research ).
By the way, they all thought I was actually Ricky Rudd. I guess they do not watch NASCAR.
