"When events are organized for Cobras, seems like the turn out is always a lot less than it could be. Wonder why?"
Rick, my guess would be the 50 year history of PCA has taught them a few things about staging a successful event. I used to attend a quite a few "driver training" sessions with PCA and they are very good at what they do. There's also a huge difference between a thrashing a finely crafted piece of German machinery close to the edge and flirting with certain death in a 60's tech Cobra (which mine is). I think the average guy with a Cobra would prefer to live to drive it tommorow.
Perry, shame on you for lumping all P-car drivers together.
BiB, I spent about 500 miles behind a hardcore HD rider last weekend and he waved to everything with 2 wheels that went by, and 99.9% waved back.
Sweeping generalizations are rarely accurate. However, if you were to say most Cobra owners are whackos...well, there's a position I could support.
