I think the reason the Porsche club is so united is that they all purchase from the same manufacturer. We all have different manufacturers and that is why we will always be opinionated against eachother. Lets face it each Cobra is "its own Creation" created by the owner. The Porsche's all have the same creator which leaves much less to insult. If I buy a Turbo Carrera and you buy one, we have the exact car(except for color and maybe a few options). I think as long as each manufacture (Cobra) gets slammed in this forum by that of a "Superior" manufacture we will always feel that way!!
I once saw a Porsche 911 with a VW engine in it that was faster than any Porsche with a 3.3 Turbo. Imagine how the Porshce owners with 3.3 in it will verbally rip that guys ass! Well thats what happens on this site daily! Its all about who'se toys are bigger, better and faster! I liked it better when I would see a Cobra(very rarely) and would get so excited I almost creamed my jeans. I didnt know there were so many manufactureres. I thought they were all from the same place (wherever that was)!
Now that I have an opinion (as does everyone else) I can appreciate them all! I would love a Khirkam, but I wouldnt trade mine for one unless I could keep my Drivetrain. Someone else might think I'm a total idiot for thinking such an abomination! Ye'all get my point??
