I've found some oval NASCAR mufflers that measure 3 x 9.5 x 16. The mufflers and related oval exhaust pipe have a 3" thickness and I am wondering if there is room to fit a 9.5" wide muffler under the car and still have the appearance of the original side pipes. In case you are wondering I am doing all this because of the huge amount of money I'm spending on a motor I don't want it choked by a restrictive exhaust. Plus I want it loud... Thanks.
