Thanks guys,that was good timing on stripe info as I am about a month away from painting.

My approach to building the Cobra has been that with all the ADR compliance required it is never going to look like an original so Iam building mine to suit my ideas( wont know how valid they are until I drive it).

I am aiming to make the vehicle as light as possible with emphasis on stopping and handling. I selected the GEN 111 for two reasons, first its about the only affordable motor that will be accepatable (ADR complient) in NSW next year and second it produces sufficient power from a very light compact unit. I have gone for 17" wheels as this allows 330 mm brakes on front and a better selection of tires.

As for colour its going to be black with red stripes.

The RTA is making life very hard for individually constructed vehicles in NSW. There are at least 6 Cobras that have been completed for about 10 months that still do not have VIN numbers.

Looking forward to Wakefield. Anyone know what the program is?
