If I understand the SB100 issue correctly your "completed" car will not qualify under that law.

I believe it is for FIRST TIME registration only of a specially constructed vehicle and must be registered by the first owner. As your car has all ready been registered once, and now "pulled" it is not the "first time" for it. It may have a "title block" on it and will be difficult to register in Calif. under any law now.

Not the first one, won't be the last. Some of my friends are dealing with that VERY issue right now in Hawaii. Solution? There seriously thinking about moving.........

I hope I'm totally wrong in my opinion here and it's not nearly so doom and gloom for you.
