Joe,
My engine is stroked with a 428 crank. I am amazed how well mannered the car is when casually cruising around town. The
car has a seamless transition of power through the rpm range. At highway speed just cruising along, the engine likes to be
above
2100 rpm. At 1800 rpm I feel an occasional "buck". That tendency diminishes almost linearly to 2100 rpm.
I am very happy with it. It looks great and performs well.

PS,
I talked to a fellow at the spring fling who was running the Dove unit. He bought it new from them. He said that his engine
builder found loose "casting flash" in the runners where it is hard to see. So please make sure to thoroughly inspect the manifold!
You don't want the engine to ingest that stuff.
There is a thread here in CC that deals with another potential problem which is porosity from the ports through the push rod
holes. I think they ended up sleaving a few holes to remedy the problem.
