Fred,
Alan / Photoguy's Butler has the original 10"/12" wide BBS modular racing wheels on it.

He is currently running BFG 265/50s on front and 295/50s on the rear. The fronts fit well, but we had to shave 1/2" off the rear wheel to get the tires to fit under fender lip a bit more. He is considering narrowing the rear another 3/4" on each side now. If your rear shocks are good, and you have the same will work for you. It's tight on the rear though with his wheel offset and differential width that came from Bulter.
