Hi Scott,

Amazing what a little damper work will do to a chassis, isn't it?

I know that you probably thought that I was crazy when we spoke a few times and all that I could talk about or recommend were damper rebound changes. (Hey, it took me a number of years and lots of experimenting to find out that 90% of the chassis tuning is done with the dampers.)

Covering up part of the massive air inlet in the front is good as well.

One thing that is very important is to make sure that the radiator area is completely sealed to the body. You do not wish any leakage past this area at all. The reason for this is that with this area sealed, you will reach a speed point where there is no additional flow through the radiator and you produce a pressure boundry at the front of the nose. This will reduce your parasitic drag by a bunch. (There are some tricks that can be done in the opening to reduce drag even farther and at lower speeds.) If you wish to discuss, you know my number.

I bet you are going to be in the 20's at Willow next time. (That is if the track is not covered in sand as is normal this time of year.)

Those dog ring boxes are sweet aren't they?
