Thanks guys. The 911 is an '88. There deer was killed instantly, thankfully. I was absolutely untouched (not sure if ducking helped, there are bits of headlight in the back seat, so it probably did help). The damage to the car is no big deal in the grand scheme of things. Besides, that's what insurance is for.
