I did about eight months of solid research - reading, talking to owners of all different manufacturers, did a lot of ease dropping on various forums, and damn near wore out my Internet browser. When I started I was going to go the FFR route - but then I felt I would basically have a used Mustang (no slam... just fact), plus I was NOT interested in stripping a Mustang and dealing with all the discarded stuff. I wanted it to be new. I wanted the experience of putting the car together, so that eliminated Superformance and Backdraft. For me, that left two options - A Unique, which I had heard very good things about, or an ERA, which for my first time out seemed a bit too spendy.

I spoke with Alan and Maurice off and on for a month or two and in April sent them my deposit check - - I have no regrets and would recommend the car and the Weaver's to anyone who asks my opinion.

Bill Parhame (Southern Automotive) talked my out of a small block and into a big block (I'm glad he did).

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
