I would offer you my 20 foot enclosed, but with only a Dodge Dakota to pull it with, coupled with the windy conditions expected in the new England area, I do not think that would be a good idea. As for the Uhaul trailer, many have used it coupled with their Pick up trucks, tows well, and you should have plenty of room in your short bed for the boxes. if not, you can always stuff them in to the back seat, and in to the cockpit of the car. bring lots of racheting tie downs, racers tape (aka: heavy duty duct tape), and you'll be just fine.....Worse comes to worse, grab a 20 foot box truck from Uhaul and load the car and all of the boxes right in to it for a safe and secure ride back to NJ.............
