Basically I was trying to determine what you got for the dollars other than the name. The initial thread seemed to move off in another direction. I think it is important to know what the "basic" package consist of, since some people looking may not have that need for the "name". If they are attempting to get in the same market as some of those listed (by the way I would love a Kirkham), the only way to fully evaluate the "package" is to know what is included. The Shelby site doen't include the list, or I wouldn't have put the question up. Since there were several opinions, that I agree with, that the consumer will judge which is the best value, you need to know what you're getting. So I have "my" car, as many on this board I have many cars and buy and sell as I find ones that are attractive for what ever reason. I didn't say I wouldn't buy a Shelby, I said the name had no meaning for me if it wasn't attached to a '60's car. If it is a fair comparison cost/value wise, I might. But with the info I've seen so far that comparison isn't really possible.
I don't recall Brent stating the standard equipment in any of the posts I read,if he has,my apologies. Direct me to the thread and I, as well as others, will compare.
