Funny, I never had a problem until I moved here to CA. Wonder if it has to do with the current governer.

Ron, mine is from '95, maybe yours hasn't had time to go all goofy. Actually, I think it is a bad ground/connection issue. It has never swept across the guage that I recall, except when it acts up like this. Tonights project: re-do all the connections on the speedo.

Do you know if VDO makes a mechanical temp guage, black face/white numbers?

Anyway, got to get it fixed, my daughter has been pestering for a ride again. The neighbors laugh, but she enjoys it.
