I wouldn't use a stock Lucas anything.

Convert wiring ends to standard two or three prong connectors, solder and grease them for corrosion protection.

The stock Lucas ground wire connection on parking, turn, tail lights are just begging for corrosion problems. Disconnect them, straighten out the lamp lead, drill a hole in it, then use a soldered and greased connector to hold it in place with a stainless or brass screw and nut about an 8-32 or 10-32.

Those little brass fittings that the lens screws go into will cause dissimilar metals corrosion if not protected. Wheelbearing grease, or ignition wire silicone grease will prevent this.
